The Fashion for Good Experience

Laudes Foundation

Overview

Turning fashion consumers into climate activists, one action at a time.

The fashion industry is one of the world's largest polluters, but telling people to "stop shopping" rarely works. We took a different approach. The Fashion for Good Experience in Amsterdam is a museum disguised as a bright, optimistic retail space. Instead of guilt-tripping visitors, we empower them. By combining a "Good Shop" of desirable sustainable clothes with a digital tracking system, we turn the act of browsing into an act of commitment—proving that you can look good without destroying the planet.

The core of the experience is the "Good Fashion Action Plan." As visitors move through the exhibits—touching raw materials, designing their own cradle-to-cradle T-shirts, and meeting the innovators reinventing fabrics—they use a digital wristband to "collect" concrete steps they can take in their own lives. These taps aren't just likes; they are pledges. At the end of the visit, the system compiles a personalized guide sent directly to the visitor's phone, transforming a visit to the museum into a long-term commitment to change.
